Everything about licensing Video Transport.
Video Transport pricing is based on the concept of channels. The following rules act since the 1.9.3.930 version's release.
N purchased channels will give you the following abilities:
Send N streams between VT Receiver and VT Publisher and output them to the NDI or device
See the Previews for N sources in both native apps
Connect maximum N Web Guests in total
Connect maximum N*2 Web Previews in total
Channels will count only if you have the connection between the native apps - streaming from VT Publisher to VT Receiver between VT Guest and VT Publisher and if you connected Web Preview/Guest. Looking at the Preview without output in the VT Receiver also counts as 1 channel.
For example, you have the 5 channels license. Then you can:
Send 5 streams from the VT Publisher to VT Receiver and output them.
Send 1 stream from 1 VT Publisher to 5 VT receivers and output it from each VT Receiver.
Send 1 stream from each of 5 VT Publishers to 1 VT Receiver and output these streams.

There are two ways of licensing Video Transport – a subscription model and an on-premises edition.
Subscription model
The fastest way to start is to grab a channel package. We offer quarterly and annual licenses. For details please reach out to sales@medialooks.com and we will try to find out the best solution for your needs.
On-prem edition
If you wish for the server-side software to reside within your own premises, feel free to opt in to an on-prem edition, which also can be white-labeled. For details please reach out to sales@medialooks.com.Benefits of on-prem deployment:
Full control over the way your traffic is routed. If you choose, all traffic stays within your closed network.
You are free to choose your own hardware: self-hosted or in a public cloud (such as AWS). Use hardware that has been specifically certified for your industry or use case.
Web-based preview and contribution links can be hosted on your domain. The web-based interfaces can be white-labeled. Our Windows apps are not branded in any way.
Scale your server infrastructure depending on the current scenario: add or remove servers based on your current needs. Useful for event-based scenarios, scale-up for big events or remove servers for small events to bring costs down.
Build custom secure video routes between distant locations by placing gateways in between for optimal latency and reliability.

In-app license count indicator
If you look at the top bar of VT Publisher or VT Receiver apps in the moment of active use, you can see the numbers after the brackets like in the following picture.
The first value represents the number of the feeds that you are output from the VT Receivers
The second value is the number of the native in-app preview watched at the moment
The third value is the number of connected Web Guests
The fourth value is the number of connected Web Preview viewers
And fifth Value after the slash is the number of purchased channels.
For example, in the picture above we can see what we spend at this moment:
